Hill EC-3000 Compressor - Oil/Water Filter

Hey AG Nation,

Are any of you Hill EC-3000 Compressor owners adding anything additional to the compressor for additional filter of oil/water etc. before it goes into your tank(s) or PCP?

Would be curious of your setup and pics if you have them.

I use it as it came from the factory. 
It’s specifically made for pcp so i‘m guessing they did everything thats needed.

I use mine as it came, but would for sure like to add a pre dryer to mine. @puhlbo you fill that tank with it?! I felt like my 530cc on the uragan was almost too much for it lol.

I fill the 5L (200bar) tank from the picture and also a 3L (300 bar) carbon fiber tank.

From 0-300 it takes quite a while, i guess around 45 minutes. But now i just let it go down to 250 as this is the working pressure of my FX Maverick and topping it up from 250 to 300 only takes 10 to 12 minutes.

I also filled an 8L bottle from 0 to 250 but that really took a while. I think maybe 2 hrs? Also it stopped once in between with a "time out security shut off".

Besides that i´m not really worrying about anything because it does its cooling pauses automatically, so as long as you are fine on the lubes i don´t think anything might go wrong. 
To be honest, i do use it 90% of the time to directly fill my Maverick (300cc) and my Walther MaximaThor (267cc) and thats just a matter of minutes. Maybe 1-2 mins to top them up to 250bar but also the smaller bottles i fill once or twice a week work just fine. I wouldnt buy it / recommend it for daily 6L or above bottle fills. Its just not built to do that over time.

I'm using the Air Venturi high-pressure output filter with my Hill.

An extra filter wouldn't hurt. I used gold filter with 3 different media.
