I was after this exact thing. I stumbled across an HPA converted RWS 850 air magnum. I haven’t received it yet but am planning on a big bottle at sub 12 fpe. If I was going to buy new , I think the HM1000 would fit the bill nicely.

N/A High shot count .177s?

I will put in my vote for the .177 Red Wolf Standard. OOTB on low power (12 fpe) you will get 500+ shots on a fill. Even on full power (~18fpe with stock board) you will get 150+ shots - can't say if it's 200 as I've never counted. If you install a Heliboard (quite simple with a minimal level of confidence removing and reattaching a couple of wires) you can easily set it for close to 27-28 fpe and still get over 100 shots per fill.
This setup is still super quiet and deadly accurate out to 100 yards if you pop in some Daystate Howler 12.6gr slugs.
If you need more shots the 480cc air tank can be removed (after degassing of course) and replaced with a 580cc or even 700cc tank.
There is nothing wrong with the other options listed, but the Red Wolf would be my choice.

My .22 BRK Pathfinder at 23 FPE gets 77 shots from a 250 BAR fill. If it were downtuned to 16-17 FPE lthe shot count would be closer to 100 shots per fill…

I expect that any bottle rifle tuned to that power range would meet your criteria.I have an HW100 in .177, and I tuned it down to around 12 fpe. Its shot count is generous, but I doubt that it's as high as 200. It took several attempts at fiddling with the reg to get a well balanced tune, but I've been very pleased with it.

Yeah, I get around 90 shots @ 18-19fpe. On the UK forum, they talk about regulating Akelas, and getting 250-300 shots @ 12.

I’m curious what you’re looking to do with your .177 set up? Needing or I guess wanting the high shot count for other reasons than not having to refill very often. I mean it’s really none of my business and I don’t mean to come across as judging, because I’m seriously not.I have .25 stuff covered well, and I think I have .22 down well enough at the moment (that can always change though, lol). But I’m considering a .177 PCP purely to have something with a high shot count per fill (200+). I realize shot count varies based on the tune, so if it helps I’d be happy with a tun that puts me anywhere from 12fpe up to 16fpe or so. The ability to tune higher would be nice in case things change, but I have lower fpe covered with a few Weihrauch springers. For the sake of this discussion and to keep things simple, let’s keep the tune to the 12-16fpe range.
I’m familiar with and enjoy BRK/Brocock, EdGun, and Taipan, and I’ve read a lot of good things about RTI, AGT, and several others. Those who’ve owned or shot these enough to know, how was the shot count per fill in this tune range? I’m strongly considering an RTI Prophet Performance, but I’m always open to other quality options as long as they net me a higher shot count. Doesn’t matter if it’s a single shot or repeater, if you’ve enjoyed a .177 that let you shoot a 250ct tin (or more) without needing to top up, I wanna hear about it!
I have an Akela .177 and shooting right at 20 ft lbs it good for at least 30 shots, which is a far cry from your desires. I haven’t shot it down to where it really drops off, so maybe it’s 35 shots or maybe it’s 50
. It’s an Airgun Revisions tune with Rich’s SSG hammer kit. It’s very consistent on the chronograph for being unregulated. I just looked at an FX M4 on PA and it’s rated at 375 shots in .177 but that’s top tier pricing. If cost isn’t an issue and I’ll just assume it’s not, there’s also the BRK Atomic that I believe has quite a high shot count. Happy searching.

I have a Gauntlet and Gauntlet 2 in .25 but I think you can get it in.22 and that will deliver. I also have an AR2078A co2 gun that will give me about 50 rounds of .177 in 70 degree air temperature using dual 12mg cartridges. It’s an accurate rifle but I honestly don’t know fpe or chrony speeds. Check out Air Gun Detective on YouTube, he has a review on this rifle.

No judgement detected, and even if there was, I wouldn’t care lol. I figure I’m spending my money and not yours, so ultimately the choice is mine alone to make regardless of what anyone else thinks. But again, I didn’t think you were prodding me at all, and it never hurts to ask!
Truthful answer: shot count is about the sum of it. I manage a moderately sized, though still rural and uncontrolled/“non-towered” airport, and throughout the year we see several periods where birds can become a real hazard to the safe operation of the airfield as a whole (among other small critters). I’m not sure I intend to dial things all the way down to 12fpe, but I don’t really think I need it a whole lot higher than that for these smaller vermin (starlings, cottontails, etc.). The ability to fill a PCP up and get several weeks of regular use from it would be hugely beneficial to me, as it would drastically simplify things. I often get pulled away from a task to tend to the needs of our clients, and I have a lot of other things on my plate anyway. Not having to worry about constantly filling the thing would be amazing! In addition, a smaller/lighter pellet poses less risk of traveling far or poking holes in things I don’t want to worry about fixing later.
Outside of that, we all know that air is cheap/free until you compress it lol. More shots per fill equals either fewer trips to fill a tank, or less wear and tear on a smaller compressor. If I don’t NEED 30fpe, then sipping on air means I get more use out of it.
All of that said, something with a smaller tube that could be “quickly” and easily filled with a hand pump or small compressor (think GX CS-1 or similar) may be equally useful. Having enough air on hand for 50-60 shots would probably be fine, followed by a refill cycle at the end of the day while balancing our fuel inventory. Just depends on how I want to play it.
And as someone else already noted, it could be a handy excuse just to try something new!
