High pressure reg vs extra high

Huma sells low, high, and extra high pressure. I got the high pressure. Its max at 160 bar. What's the difference between the high pressure reg vs the extra high pressure? I dont want to spend $120 for a whole reg. Would I be able to go extra high pressure just by getting ordering the bevel washers and replacing it or by adding more wash? How does it work? More washers more pressure?

The high pressure is good for 80-150bar. The extra high pressure reg is good for 145-190bar. The Belleville washers are the difference between the two. Not more washers just thicker ones to go up in pressure. Although my Huma instruction sheet did say that if the pressure was not high enough in a gen1 you could add a pair of the Fx Belleville washers to make it higher.

I have the huma high pressure. If I want to up to reg pressure to maybe 170-180 I just add some fx washers? It came with 12 washers, so add maybe 2 more? Or does huma sell extra high pressure washer without the reg.

The instruction sheet I got with my Huma says "If the max output pressure is not high enough, please add 1 set of 2 FX factory springs to the bottom of the piston so there will be a total of 16 springs" I thought this kind of unusual as the FX washers have a slightly different ID. I have my doubts that you will make it past 170 but let me know cuz i may be doing the same to mine in the near future. Oh and I expect Huma sells their own springs as well although I have not checked as yet to find out. ))(())(())(())(( Spring placement the two on the right are the FX springs up against the piston head. Hope this helps.
