“High end” equivalent to AV Avenger?

Say between $1000-$2000 is there a .22 cal air rifle that: has an adj reg, adj hs (or maybe tp), 300 bar charge, 175-300cc cap and under 8lbs?

Being adjustable from roughly 20fpe-40fpe and side lever would be a bonus. Don’t care about slugs.

Thoughts?

The Prophet is a side lever that may meet your criteria if you like to hear the very noticeable distinctive sound your plenum breathing. I like DARTH VADER! But I bet he sure can't sneak up on you in between shots!

FX makes several that meets a lot of this criteria (except the 300 bar fill) and falls within the specified price range, and they are accurate!

If you are looking for a 'classic rifle' format like the Avenger the FX Crown checks all the boxes with the exception of 300 bar fill. It is (only) 250 bar fill but with a 480 cc capacity your shot count will not suffer.

the huben also has toolless power adjustability (similar to FX). something i wish they would have kept from the liberty -> avenger.

also seems to be it's advantage vs. a leshiy 2

It is also PRETTY DAMN QUIET TOO! STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOX EVEN AT HIGH POWER SHOCKED THE HELL OUTA ME! THOUGHT IT WAS BROKEN! Sounds more like a not at all loudly offensive pneumatic tool rather than shooting a gun.

Okay, a little narrower. Prefer more traditional rifle package, can get over thumbhole stock but pretty sure I want a fixed-type tube over a bottle for personal reasons.

Was looking at some of Daystates mechanical rifles, not interested in electronics either. Deal with that at work.

FYI this is my first pcp and I have an Avenger on preorder but started wondering if there was a pretty much feature and performance brother from another mother out there that I should maybe be looking at for long term and growth enjoyment.

Also re: the Huben, how do you fill a 5000psi vessel?

You can either fill from a 6000psi nitrogen tank or straight from your YONG HENG maxed out at 4500psi or use an ALTAROS booster or a hand pump that can go that high.

Or just fill to whatever max pressure your set up will allow for since the Hubens are regulated anyway.

I have to admit I only fill whatever PCPs I have to 3000psi no matter what the max fill ratings are. I don't want to stress out the seals and deal with leaks that's all and just refill more often and carry a smaller CF tank to top off or run a user adjustable regulated tether when bench shooting and that's for sure less than 3000psi.
