Hi, newbie here looking for a scope

Hi all,
Last year I bought a Crosman Vantage air rifle with nitro piston and put a Leapers UTG 3-12x40 AO Hunter Rifle Scope on it. I figured a scope that cost more than the rifle and was supposedly rated for springers would last. I guess I was mistaken. I've put about 500 rounds through it since November 2015 and yesterday the reticle started spinning in the scope. From what I understand reading online the scope is toast and it's one month out of warranty :-( .

Is there any scope out there that will hold up longer on this piston rifle for under $150? I'm pretty disappointed in Leapers now.

many leapers scopes come with a lifetime warranty. not sure about yours but being one month out might be worth touching base with leapers.

Yea, I sent an email and I'm waiting for a reply. Their customer service goes to voicemail. I'd imagine they're very busy two days after Christmas. I checked the date when I bought the scope and it turns out it was December 10th of 2015, so it's out of warranty by 17 days!

Update, I talked to a customer rep from Leapers and they say I have a lifetime warranty on the scope. I don't know what made me think it was only for 1 year. You were right Steppenwulf. He said they'd be sending me an RMA# soon and replace the scope.
