Hey guys, what barrel maker supplies Crosmans Fortitude barrel?

I'm looking at it and not sure what differentiates it from any Marauder. To me, I don't need a magazine as single shot is just fine by me. Unless it's semi auto what's the point in my eyes. I mean yes, it does help in group shooting to keep basically the near same positioning but otherwise I've noticed I just waste pellets with magazine fed rifles. I know it's psychological but it is what it is. I'm not in a hurry to pay more for a mag fed rifle. One of the reasons I kept & love my .177 Discovery from the start. My very first PCP. I do wish I'd kept my first Marauder which turned into a LW Greg Davis full job 10 months after I sent it. Remember when Greg had literally pallets of Marauders waiting to be done? 10-12 years ago. Yes sir. That reminds me, can anyone tell me a list of spring gun tuners that actually have the tubes Sunnen honed, drill & install buttons or rings, not Maccari stick ons, have the ability to cut choke with blocks & crown on a lathe with a recessed 11* target crown? Quick detour. To whoever sold me the El Game 300, I'd love to send you a picture of her & groups now. I forget who did what deals. I'll start another post as I have several I'm looking to buy back

So, back to post, what barrels are on what at Crosman? .25 Mrods still have Green mountain. Custom FT Mrods have LW. Regulars have in shop Crosmans but new design on .22's at least I've heard. I have no idea about Discovery, fortitude but know The Maximus has a new & improved 2" longer than Discovery barrel & I'm looking to buy that from Crosman and drop it in.

Crosman manufactures their .177 and .22 barrels. They announced a couple of years ago that they were working on improvements. I never saw an official statement on which products would carry the new barrels but there’s some speculation that they’re on the F&T Marauder and the new Fortitude.

Some of the early Fortitude groups look very promising for factory barrels (no crown retouch, leade work, etc.). Earlier Crosman barrels were often quite good as well but they struggled with consistency, and workmanship issues seemed to linger like the damaged rifling at the muzzle. Hopefully they can keep the quality up this time around.
