I have tried 4 different brand and weight slugs on 5 different speed levels and they all shoot 2" groups at 50m.
The zan's seems to group the best (close to 1")

13.4 KO @ 1000fps
13.4 KO @ 960fps
16gr HN @ 945fps
18gr Wildman @ 880fps
20gr zan @ 870fps

I have a brand new Superior heavy liner 500mm, dual TP, slug probe and huma tuning spring.
Reg 140bar
IHS 2 full turns from max.
Shot 150 slugs through the new liner.
Crown MK2 .177

I'm not sure that you really need the heavy liner. 600mm barrel impact mkii with 720 plenum and power block. At 100bar I'm shooting the 13.4gr KO and getting submoa at 50yds. I also had it shooting well when I had the gun at 135bar and the 13.43 running about 1020fps. I would play with the reg, start at a lower reg pressure. I also polished my barrel, not that it needed for accuracy, but my barrel fouled up rather quick.

Yeah the barrel wa probably not needed, it has the same twist and everything so dont know why it suppose to be better at slugs, but now that i got it i May aswell leave it in?
I have shot some more now and it slow gets better so maybe the shooting in thing has a thing to it.

The zan's and wildmans are 20-25mm groups now at 50m but the lighter slugs are still all over the place, maybe i need to try them at slower speeds too

I believe it's because they likely have a lighter choke, allowing for less friction when the slug passes through. Either way I'm gonna chrony now just how fast these KO are going.

This is what I get with wildman 18gr

The setting were, 100 bar, 3/4 on the hammer, and 4 lines on my impact mkii 600mm barrel pellet liner, it was shooting the 13.43gr between 900 and 914, grouping was about a half inch. I don't have pictures or card since I don't shoot at at paper. I do pest control, and so I rezero on whatever I can with a back stop.

i just wonder what FX company find is the best pellet and speed for a factory build . Leaving advertising aside , what if they found that a FX #### shot ,22 Monster pellets @ 625FPS and was super accurate at 100 yards , but advertising said NO you have to make it MDR pellet @ 37 FPE cos that is what the people want . ? I used to be in Advertising so ...........
Maybe too much coffee today ?
