help with Sheridan Silver Streak Model C9A

I just purchased a used Silver Streak. Its a later version with the safety on the trigger guard. Pumps good and shoots great. The issue is after the gun is fired the pump handle does not stay up/closed. If I pump it one time, it stays up and closed. I read this can be fixed by adjusting the piston rod. Mine is not adjustable. Any one know the fix?

Try lubing the piston seal with Alphabet org auto trans stop leak quick fix shoot it for at least a day and if still doesn't stay put your check valve is no good either clean or replace it.
