Help with my new Walther Reign UXT 0.25 magazine?

Hi all,

I just received my Walther Reign 0.25 today, and was very excited to try it out right away. I filled it up with a hand pump, and then loaded the magazine with .25 JSB Exact Heavy pellets. The problem I'm facing is that the magazine only appears to be cycling through the first 3-4 pellets. For the last 4-5 pellets, I'm not feeling any rotational spring tension in the magazine, so as I pull back the side lever on the gun, the magazine does not rotate to the next available slot is unable to chamber a pellet.

I also own a FX Impact and Hatsan AT-44, so I'm not a completely beginner to PCP airguns. Just not sure if I'm being really stupid and missing something, or perhaps I've gotten a defective magazine? I'm searching all over the net for others who've faced the same issue for this gun, but no results so far.

Please see this short video for a demonstration of the mag: https://streamable.com/kdhmrq

Thanks for the help!

First, the video doesn't work.

Magazine designs takes on several forms. From no springs to a couple of different ways the spring works.

Being that this magazine has a spring, and is actually a simpler design that most... With no pellets, does the center "star" (for lack of better words) rotate smoothly through the whole rotation ? Does the little silver pinhead on the breach side, move side to side smoothly ? Is the "star" rotation smooth and even through the full rotation ?

Mine is a .22 and the JSB Heavy pellets fit well. After you load the magazine, does the "star" still move smoothly, no hard spots or hang ups anywhere ? Make sure that your pellet insertion is full and the pellet skirt isn't hanging up on the magazine wall.

If the answer to these questions is yes, the gun should have no problems with it. If the answer is no, contact the shop that you bought it from.
