Help with gopro hero7 sideshot setup

Anyone have any input on how to properly change lense and setup for use with sideshot, figured I would ask before I attempt anything at all with it, it’s all brand new , if it’s major pia I’m just going to stay with my iPhone setup, and trade this one Any input would be helpful. Thanks

Hajimoto has great videos of this! The Eagle Vision lens he recommends is great. Follow his videos and you will be set.

I will check his channel out, I have the new lense already just don’t want to mess anything up lol. I’ve been known to once or twice haha. Thanks

I think you can find a few videos in general on how to replace / change lens on a gopro ( 7 ) camera on youtube, getting to the lens and loosening the old one are probably the biggest problem.

After that it is just to unscrew it, and screw in the new one until where it is in focus, in this case on the crosshairs in your scope, as it is what it is you probably do not need to secure the new lens again unless you managed to get it very loose in the fine M12 thread, if it is loose a single wrap of plumbers tape on the thread might pick up the slack.

Do remember to test video recordings before you put it all together, to make sure focus is 100 % dead on.
