Help with flying with a PCP!

I am going to travel by air and I just realised my airgun, fx superswift, was shipped to me with a charge of 160bar. TSA says the gun has to fly w/o any air. How do I get the air out? Unscrewing the front tube only lets a tiny amount out at a time. 
Getting the flight today... :/

If it were me, I would seek the instructions, call AoA, post on airgunning forums(which is what you did nice!), and if as a last resort....


Dry FIre it until no air?

I don't know, someone elses opinion on this?

Flying today eh, hope you and your rifle get through.
ALWAYS follow TSA rules (and it doesn't hurt to print a copy (2 ?) and carry the rules with you.
Locking approved case, no air, ... ... ... .
While it does not happen often, TSA can (should under the CFR's) require your pre-charged airgun to be visibly empty of air. If so they need to see inside your air tank/cylinder. Seems to happen most on International flights.

If your model is similar to other FX mk1 models, then you can loosen the air pressure gauge to remove the air. Don't over loosen it, HPA is no joke.

You hav a couple of options. Either unscrew the bottle slightly or loosen the pressure gauge. It may take a minute or two but that should do the trick.
