Help! Stuck regulator

Hi everyone!

So…

I was installing a huma reg+plenum to a Hatsan Flashpup Synth and I forgot to remove the little screw on top of the regulator.

Now the tank is pressurized and theres no air flowing past the regulator.

How can I safely depressurize it? Should I try and slowly remove the fill cap (if pressure allows)?

Not sure what to do…safely.

The manometer / gauge should be able to be turned 1/4-1/2 turn out without harm, and should develop a leak, can check with soap.

I just wouldn't take the above gauge over 3/4 turn if that doesn't suffice, try elsewhere. Keep head/hands away from its projecting path during this operation as well and wear safety gear.
