Tuning Help? REPLACEMENT Benjamin Kratos .25 set/grub screws for shroud??

Hello everyone, 

While working today, the shroud on my .25 Kratos slid forward! Has the factory never heard of lock-tite? The set/grub screws are long gone, and I have no idea what size they are. After hours of searching online, I came up with nothing. 

I need this rifle in working order the morning.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

Only thing is that they usually want a item # from their schematics.

Try an M3 (metric, 3mm cup head "set screw") from your local hardware store.

you can find them on ebay from a vendor like monsterbolts, theyre a common set screw ... just insert something in the hole to get a depth so you can get the proper length in mm, and it will be an m2, m3, m4 etc set screw... if you have a problem identifying the size just find a screw that threads in properly then measure its diameter, if its 3mm then you need an m3 set screw in 'x' length ..

On my Gauntlet I tracked down 3mm x 0.8mm x 8mm "dog point" setscrews from Fastnal. Several of the setscrews in that rifle are the same, so if there is one somewhere else, check it and go from there. Dog point has a flat ended unthreaded portion, as opposed to a cup or a point on the end.

I spent over an hour on the phone with Crosman just now. They finally found that it is a M 3x3. (Apparently they list everything by part number only)

I am fortunate that in my area, this business carries just about every fastener known to man. While I am awaiting what Crosman is sending to me, I'm heading down there now.

They also do mail order, so that might be helpful for any of you who just ended up in the mess I did! (Lake closed down for goose control, and I am not there...ugh)

M3 comes in two thread pitches, 0.5 and 0.8, so before reefing it in... I was annoyed while tracking mine down, that the size and length was listed, but not the thread pitch.

Back from NuttyBolts all fixed and ready to go...would have cost me 60 cents but I bought a dozen just in case, if this ever happens again, I'll be ready for it.
