HELP, PLEASE HELP!!!

I had a good experience with them when my NEW BT65SB Elite QE couldn’t hit a barn at 20 yards, I explained that I had not touch the airgun except for trying 4 differant scopes and it still was way off, they had me send it in and it turned out I had a bent barrel/shroud and they replaced the whole airgun and now it shoots just fine out to 100 yards and with that said...

Is it not cocking all the way back ? that last 3/8 - 1/4 inch can be a bear with the bigger caliber even the .25 is hard to cock all the way back so with that said I don’t know why they wount let you send it in if it’s NEW and you have not made any changes to the trigger or the airgun itself, I do know if you make changes to the Hatsan they are more reluctant on letting you send it in for warranty work, they will normally charge you for repairs if you did anything to the airgun.

What exactly is it doing or not doing out of curiosity?

So you put the round mag in and locked it in place with the lever and it will not cock, right ? if it’s brand new never been touched they should let you send it in and they will check it out and fix it under warranty.

A friend had the same problem with a BT65 .25. He said it wouldn't cock. Turns out he was letting up towards the end of the cocking motion. He found out he needs to "manhandle" it to get it to cock. Could be there is nothing wrong with your gun that a little muscle can't fix

I put the butt up against my chest when I pull the bolt back to make sure it gets pulled all the way back, I can do it a few shots without bracing it but my nerve damage starts to effect my ability to just do it normally. It definitely can be a pain to get it cocked for sure.

as was said, the last bit can be tough in cocking pcp guns

is this your first pcp airgun?

if it is then id say youre not pulling hard enough to fully cock it

if its not your first pcp then id diagnose the problem and fix it,

i wouldnt think the trigger would be adjusted so light from the factory that the gun wouldnt cock, but you never know.

more info for us would help....

maybe it's time to look for another gun that's easier to cock

The BT series Hatsan in my book was a eye opener for sure, it’s a nice accurate shooting airgun but they really blew it on their bolt design or what ever makes that last bit hard to pull back but then again all 3 of my Benjamin Marauders were the same but not as bad as the Hatsan, those were 4 of my 1st airguns and with that experience under my belt now all my newer airguns are side levers, wildcat, texan’s,RAW’s even my new Hatsan Bully in .30 caliber is a side lever and a nice shooter.

If you have done nothing to your BT and it is new and your the 1sr owner maybe they will let you trade it in on their Bully in 30 cal and pay the difference, you can use the customer satisfaction card, I just ordered 8 more tins of JSB 44.75s because I like shooting mine so much now that I’ve put the DonnyFL Emperor on it. Here is my Bully in .30 caliber.
