Help picking 100 yd yote gun?

This cover several “topics”...srry for generalization. Looking for recs for pcp rifle that could control coyotes out to 100 yards. Have been looking at the Airforce Texan SS in 30 cal. Needs to be able to shoot bullets/slugs around 100+ grains at speed (not pellets), needs to be factory quiet (relative to power generated), needs to be accurate (not moa but close). 357 is an option but figure more air/more noise than necessary for yotes. Air hogs are ok as will use compressor to fill. Needs to have a working suppressor built into barrel (dont want a can on the front). What I don’t like about the Texan SS (or LSS) is length and price point for old technology. Would prefer a bull pup but haven’t seen one that shoot 100 grains at 900+ fps. I can’t believe manufacturers haven’t built that. It’s just a bigger bottle. Ideas?

That is exactly what a pile of us are waiting for! My .30 impact is getting there, as are other .30 rifles, but definitely do not meet those specs yet. As soon as someone makes this a reality they will be taking my money! That being said, I am starting to get comfortable in the thought of taking coyote and smaller game at sub 100 yard ranges with the Nielsen 65.5 gr slugs at 865 fps.

I got a coyote this am with a 65.5 at 980fps past 100! Been archery hunting this week and kept seein them so brought my uragan. I put it behind his shoulder and he dropped, ran 10-15 yards and curled up dead. Excellent slug choice for yotes!

Very nice! I just got a new chronograph that I am hoping is more accurate so I can get a little more serious about dialing in the Impact. Although I am not sure I am going to be able to get close to 980 with the 65.5.

Didn’t know that gun existed. What did you have to do to that Uragan to shoot the slug at that velocity? Those ballistics are ball park what I was looking for & the Uragan King in 30 looks quiet & compact!

Alot. Lol. Id go for the impact if I had to do it again. The 49.5gr nsa at 100fpe with a easily tuned uragan will suprise you too.

850-900 will do just fine! Mine just seemed to be more accuract up top. It was also stupid accurate at 780fps. Trust me after hearing that slug hit him at 100 I wouldnt hesistate. Almost exited, expanded nicely and destroyed his heart. He was dead on his feet and didnt know it.

After Ernest upgraded my internals to the latest stuff, my impact is performing pretty well. The accuracy is crazy good and I am relatively happy with the speeds. A little more tuning and as soon as we start getting a little more daylight back I am going to get out and do some calling.

I've been testing 3 guns for this. Bulldog, Texan SS .308, and a suped up Prophet in .30. All shoot slugs. Bulldogs is 110g NSA at 830fps (211fpe), SS Texan is 85grain at 970fps 177fpe, and the .30 Propet is 44 Fx Hybrids at 940fps 86fpe.

All will easily do a coyote at 100yards. Prophet is amazing quiet and is mag fed but good out to 120 yards. Texan is proficient out to 200 yards but single shot. The suped-up Bulldog has the most power, but noisy and good out to 160 yards.

After all my testing for a predator gun, I ended up getting my first fox with a leshiy 2 in .25 by a fluke. Best results would be to just pick a gun and get really proficient with it, know it's limitations, its strengths, then set up the hunt around the gun.
