I decided to take my Terrus apart to polish the trigger because it was a little gritty. Anyway I put it back together and it looked just like it did when I opened it but then the gun won't cock properly. I believe the sear is not catching the cutout in the compression tube. So, when I try to cock nothing catches and it just springs back. The sear look so different from the one on my Crosman I have no idea how it could work. There is no spring to push it up and no 'hook' shape to engage the cut out. I figure I am doing something that will be obviously wrong to somebody, but I cant see it. Everybody says it easy. Haha. TIA

What the diagram shows looks different from your picture, I don’t see the same part coming across horizontaly. ? Or I’m wrong?

The horizontal rectangular green piece you are referring to 'lives' on the exterior of the trigger case and is part of the safety. I know it is not the problem.

Eureka! Figured it out! Problem solved.
I was being very careful and still a small spring escaped unnoticed and was hiding until I called in help to mount a search and found it.

Awesome! Congrats. I just bought me a set of magnetized steel bowls/plates to prevent that sort of thing. Can be found cheap at Amazon.
