Help me pick one scope from these two please.

I'll be plinking and pest hunting on my Sig Sauer ASP .22. From 10 to 30 yards and sometimes a bit farther. My eyesight itsn't great, I'm a old fart.

Well here ya go:

DISCOVERY OPTICS VT-T 4.5-18X44 SFVF FIRST FOCAL PLANE. $239 at Airgun Optics.

Or

AR OPTICS RIFLESCOPES - 4.5-18X40 Under $200 at Optics Planet.

Personally I like the Discovery. I have a 6-24x50 attached to my Vulcan 2 Tactic and it does whatever I ask it to do. The glass is not as clear as some very high end scopes but I would easily put it on a level with the 5-25x50 by Aztec FFP and the Vortex Diamondback FFP. It is a FFP scope, I can easily see my pellet holes at 100 yards and it holds zero very well. Clicks on the turret are well defined and audible, no real sloppiness anywhere. I think the current price on the VT-T SFVF 6-24x50 FFP is $279 which may be a little more than you would want to put into it … but I love mine, especially considering that it is just a little more than half the price of the Aztec. I've had it over a year and no problems whatsoever yet.
