A couple of contractors that I do a lot of work for want to buy me a Boyds stock for my .25 Marauder(they know how I've been drooling over one) as a bonus. I can' t decide, the thumbhole that has no adjustable comb or the pro varmint that does. Any thoughts?

I would go with a thumbhole stock because you then have the option to add a cheek rest onto it like this one shown here:

The one Steve has is no longer available as those were custom cut for the Mrod action by a guy who no longer does them. It's called a blaster stock. Personally the only way to get good cheek rest on the Boyd's aftermarket stocks are the pro varmint with the adjustable comb. My dad has one on his and it feels very nice.
