Help me decide!!!!

I’m stuck between a rock and hard place. Kinda new to PCP’s. I can’t decide on which rifle to purchase. The Brocock Bantam Sniper XR, The FX Crown VP, or on the cheaper side the Hatsan Neutron Star. This will be my second gun. I currently have the Hatsan flash pup. It is wickedly accurate. I currently use it for ratting at night. I want another rifle for long range shooting with heavy 22 pellets or 22 slugs.

Personally I would choose the Brocock Bantam Sniper XR out of the choices you mentioned. Specifically in 22 caliber. I have a cheap version of that gun which is the entry level Compatto in 22 and I can hit a nickle sized spinner at 75 yards. Best news is that I get to shoot cheap affordable ammo such as the Crosman Premier Hollowpoints from Wal-Mart out to just past 55 yards. The Crosman pointed 14.3s are a little better but the JSB 15.9 and 18.1gr shoot like lasers. You won't regret buying the Brocock in 22 caliber. Yo!

I had / have a Brocock Compatto Sniper XR .177, got it in April of this year I got for HFT, but selling it to a friend in the USA and getting a dedicated sub-12 ft/lbs gun for HFT, maybe a used sub-12 Daystate Huntsman or HW100. But the Compatto is a great and solid gun, and shot counts are pretty much as listed.

The Compatto has 3 settings, the low setting (sub/12) is around 80-100 and medium & high (15-18 ft/lbs), I assume .22 cal would be similar ratios.

It is a very solid and nice rifle, the only weak point to me is the trigger, but it is NOT a slug gun if you are looking to shoot slugs and I am sure the same applies to Compatto in .22.

The lever action of the Compatto is quite smooth, with a bit of a long throw and the synthetic stock of the XR Sniper version is very nice.

In the USA I think the Compatto Sniper XR will be priced similar to the Concept, or maybe slightly cheaper, and the differences in the platform is cosmetic.
