Hello! New member

Welcome. Good advice to be had here. Do yourself a favor and pay attention to the experts.
I am still a new guy here. Only have 3 PCPs now.
It appears from your comments you are not afraid to spend. Good thing. Quality cost more.
Slow down, and ask good questions.
My advice would be to purchase quality right off the bat if you have the monetary resources to do so.
I started with a Daystate and have not regretted it. Next came a BRK sniper and just recently a Western Bushbuck in .45 cal.
There is lots to spend money on, so have fun and enjoy the journey.

What's up, Doc?

I'm glad you can see where I'm coming from. I didn't mean to join the forum and say, "Hey, I can afford a nice gun even though I'm brand new to this hobby." It's the complete opposite, in fact. A few years ago, I got into audio gear (headphones and IEMs...). I was reluctant to buy the top-of-the-line stuff, so I bought cheaper ones. I was never completely happy with them. Long story short, I'm stuck with 5 pairs of IEMs, with a total price exceeding the pair that I really want.

So, I don't want to find myself looking at 3 or 4 airguns next year saying, "Man, I wish I'd bought the $2,800 one in the first place. What am I going to do with these things?"

Thanks again.

@44_Magnum ,
Hello and welcome to the forum. I hear you and you definitely want to take your time, do your research and think carefully about what you want to do with your new air rifle. You definitely want to buy nice and not twice. If you just like the joy of shooting, you may want to consider a smaller caliber for more economical shooting. If you want to hunt something, you may end up getting more than one rifle for each desired facet of air gunning, just like any other hobby. Just don't get into a hurry until you're pretty sure you know what you want based on others experiences and recommendations; both exist in abundance here on this forum.

I guess if I’m looking for an animal to shoot instead of a turkey vulture, I bet shooting a rabid beaver is OK with everyone :) I wonder if you could kill one with a 30 caliber.
