I'm new to PCP airguns. I've shot with various pellet/bb buns and other firearms for over 40 years. I recently purchased a .177 Marauder for backyard target shooting. I'm just starting to play with suppressors and upgrades. It would be great if I could connect with folks in the Sacramento, CA area to discuss best practices and lessons learned

There are better scopes than the Barska for the same price range. Research OPTICS here on the forum.

My only advice on what glass you might consider for your awesome Marauder would be to spend at least half the cost of your gun, on the scope.

That said, I do own several scopes that cost me less than 1/5th the cost of the gun they are on! I also have a few that have scopes on them that cost 5x what the rifle cost me!
