I know most people don’t really care what I say….. Anything less than an Alkin, Bauer or similar and you will have issues. The air pressure we are dealing with just kills anything else. Yes they are pricey. However purchase once and be happy. And if you do have an issue, they guys at Alkin will take care of you. Don’t just look at these forums. Go to dive forums and see what they say.

Curious why this isn’t an option for the customer anymore. It was a way to save purchase cost without the additional features, that most don’t need.

Those features are truly nice to have, but not needed and I say that as a compliment to the Alkin’s fast fill times. Five minutes to go from 3200 to 4500 isn’t worth me walking away from the unit.

Adding auto shutoff feature to a manual compressor is not possible at the moment but we are still working on it. We will let you know when we have an update.
