Hell of a Deal! $130 Vector Veyron 3-12x44mm FFP, MPR-4 Reticle

That is an excellent price for a pretty nice compact scope!

These scopes are better for those with very good eyesight though as the reticle gets very thin, and difficult to see, at lower than 6 or 8 power so can get lost in dark backgrounds.

But on a positive not they focus to ten yards at the full 12 power so that is not often a problem. One just looses some field of view once set to higher powers is all.

The SFP of the same scope, or a Discovery is much better for those of us with old eyes.

I recently purchased a few Discovery SFP scopes. A couple with target turrets, and one with standard turrets. After they arrived, I checked each for build quality, clarity, and function. Across the board, all passed inspection with flying colors. They were purchased for installation on PCP's so expect that they will perform well, with a long lifespan, due to the absence of recoil.

Subsequent to receiving them I noticed what appeared to be virtually identical scopes, at varying price points for sale, but with different branding. IE: Vector and West Hunter. The reply I got from each manufacturer when I inquired about whether they came out of the same plant, but with different badging was... yes and no. It just depends on the specific model.

Don't forget the US Optics TS12x variant of these scopes and also the Hawke and MTC and Optisan versions selling for much higher prices.

Suggest buying the one with the best no b.s no questions asked life time transferable warranty unless they are selling for dirt cheap.

Quality control on the Vector brand seem consistently good. Regarding Discovery brand might want to stay clear of until QC and their USA warranty customer service representative improves.

Warranty.

MTC one year or option to inform their company towards the end of the first year possible option to add 4 more years extension depends on if you register your MTC scope serial number with in 30 days of original dated purchase receipt and not transferable to the next owner. Don't want to too lazy or don't know better than to register in the 30 days allowance time then you get zero warranty. What kind of company is this? Sounds like Falcon brand and no warranty transfer to secind owner.

West Hunter unknown if theres any warranty support.

Discovery normally 3 years for majority of their low to mid grade lines including HD but currently looks like zero warranty service from USA importer as of right now.

Hawke usually has life time warranty only if you get a competent warranty guy checking your defective scope instead of sending it right back to you unrepaired stating nothing wrong 3 separate instances.

Optisan people have stated life time warranty but not transferable to second owner. A proof of purchase receipt is needed to get any warranty service.

US Optics the most expensive of the Vector Veyron line of scopes. Life time no questions no b.s. warranty. They can afford to warranty it for life especially for how much they retail for.
