Tuning Heliboard for DayState AirWolf - long term stability and drift?

This question is for shooters who swapped out the circuit board in a DayState AirWolf for the heliboard.

I initially set mine up in Feb 2017 for use in AAFTA Open Class Field Target matches; for 4 years it's been very reliable. The velocity at power level 5 was 765 ± 3 fps for 19.5 ft lbs.. At my last match I had a terrible score, missed loads of targets, and had trouble at the sight in range before the match.

This morning I shot strings on a chronograph and found that the velocity had dropped to 714 ± 3 fps, which explains why I was missing targets. I increased the power level from 5 to 6 and the velocity is back up to 776 ± 3 fps.

Have other heliboard users noticed changes in the velocity for a given power setting over long term periods? Any other ideas what might have changed>

Have one in my .20 cal Wolf ..... No changes unless I loose or a leaking probe o-ring or transfer port rings start leaking.

While I've replaced a couple for customers ... The electronic pressure transducer if it fails or starts failing ( Note the black rubbery fill on its back side where wires exit ) if it is cracked or bulging it could be bad & the data being sent to the board is no longer correct for pressure in HPA bottle erroring the data & power the board sends to fire the solenoid.

Also check the 3 pin connector making sure each is tight and no corrosion.

Thanks - super helpful. I'll check the transducer for changes and 3-pin connector. As long as fps remains stable and I get good groups, that's all I need to compete. Checking probe and transfer port rings also a good idea. But good to know that Daystate fixed RWpaul25's problem, once it was reconfigured to stock. I'm in US, so not sure if US distributor's would do so well, but that's another story.

@Motorhead: are you in the trade if I did need service work after the season ends? You could pm me if you prefer.

I offer reseal and minor mod services ... but also at the whim of AOA for any required OEM daystate parts or pieces if needing replacement.
