Tuning Heathaway Plainsman 175 barrel extendtion

I am doing a barrel extension mod on a Heathaways plainsman 175 using part of a barrel shroud and the barrel from a Heathaways MX175 rifle. Wanting to keep the gun authentic with their parts. The Plainsman 175 has three power settings the highest 450fps. the barrel will be 12 inches with the shroud concealing ten inches of it, when completed. 

I scalped the parts from one of the rifles. The worst of the three I purchased in a lot. One of them was in 95% condition the other two had problems.

I do have some available parts for the Heathaways plainsman MX175 if you are in need of them.

Shot it from 20 feet both accurate with some power.

Does anybody out there repair these pistols? Have a Plainsman 175 that has a bad leak. Replaced o-ring on piercing plug purchased from JG Airguns which is smaller than original one but still leaks from the plug. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Pistol is like new. A real gem purchased in 1958 { original sales receipt } Sure wold like to be able to shoot it.
