Okay so I've been looking real hard at a thermal game spotting scope that has been floating around recently. With a retail of $700 I can get them quiet a bit for less. I almost know for sure that could be adapted to be used as an actual shooting scope. The least expensive option I have seen for a thermal scope is closer to $2000.00
Just out of plain meanness I am going to leave out the name and manufacturer for a while but will say it is one of the most trusted name in scopes.
So here is the cool deal the unit as a whole is built into a scope tube I think it's a 1 inch. It has a 600 yard detection range but remarks and reviews state that anything over 100 is hard to see. It has a 6x electronic zoom, with a little over 1 inch round viewer and what's totally cool is it has an adjustable crosshair reticle according to the white sheet.
Now just to clarify it is not designed to be a gun mounted scope most likely it would not stand up to the recoil of a fire arm but for a PCP it should be okay .
Now here is my thought on the reticle, I know almost for sure it is not going to be exact but I am going to take some lessons learned from shooting an scoped target bow with a round dot reticle. You can buy these reticles and they stick on the glass. So while not mil dot accuracy... for hog hunting a three to four inch group should work and that shouldn't be a huge hurdle at my 100 yard or less goal.
.....
Okay so is your mouth watering yet
