Great for at least a Benjamin Maximus and guaranteed to improve its long distance accuracy for sure.

Only gripe is the damn sunshade doesn't seem compatible from the old VX3 EFR!!! Doesn't seem to want to screw in all the way. OH COME ON LEUPOLD!!!

I paid $637 delivered from Amazon, it actually came in today. Have not had a chance to mount it yet. Waiting on new gun and rings to mount it. 

I ordered everything on the same day last Friday I think.

why are almost all leupolds duplex? They just recently made a mil reticle didn't they? Seems odd being such a huge and reputable company to just now be making different reticles other than duplexs. Sorry.. Steering the thread lol, Disregard

Probably to keep the selling price lower. Not like Leupolds are cheap scopes. They want to charge for Custom Shop upgrade reticles. Which I already have many of!!!

The Leupold VX-3i 6.5-20 x40mm waiting for rings and new rifle. Looking thru it , seems to be very clear. Kind of tall turret caps. But I don’t have a lot of experience. Turning all adjustments seem very smooth.

I am looking forward to when the custom shop opens.

No doubt some of you have seen this from me before, but here is how the old TS29X1 reticle (now called the Impact 29 MOA) appears through a Leupold 6.5-20 EFR. No need to turn dials with this one.

Someone asked for impressions of this scope? Mine is the VX3, not the VX-3i but I am sure they are equal in performance. This is an awesome scope and everyone who has looked through it is impressed with the brightness and clarity. A very accomplished FT shooter once tried to buy it off my gun.

How does the 224$ Barra scope you recommend compared to this Leopold scope? I think the Barra is better if it can be bought for only 224$ from EBay you mention on the other post.

They are about the same in clarity and brightness IMHO.

The Leupold is a lot lighter though.

I REALLY like that reticle. If I didn't just buy a Vector Continental I might have been tempted. Does it come standard or is it a "custom shop extra"? And of course, it may not be any brighter/clearer than the Continental. And also, it probably isn't FFP either. So maybe I wouldn't have been tempted.

Biggest plus about Leupold scopes are they are incredibly light weight and optics are first rate no question2 and relatively cheap for the sheer quality glass you get that only high end Japanese and European glass can compare to. No Chinese made scope can compare to a Leupold. Ask anyone!

The VX-3i is around $900 with that reticle. 21 oz. I'm tempted.........

It's not just you. The caps aren't even the worst of it. It's the microscopic, "mushy". 'clicks' when adjusting. It seems to be the one thing Leupold has never really excelled at. They either can't, or won't, make good target turrets and I think it's eating their lunch. Even cheap imports have better 'clicks' these days.
