Heading to Wisconsin for rabbits and pigeons

Yes I bought a 5-day non-resident license. We ended up with four snowshoe rabbits and a handful of red squirrels. And 1 porcupine in the late afternoon. I have scope cam on one red squirrel, one of the rabbits and the porcupine. I also have some third person footage of some shots from my hunting buddies.

Tomorrow morning we will hit some farms for pest birds. It was difficult to film the rabbit hunting due to the nature of this kind of hunting. The cover was sort of thick and each of us was carrying a rifle and were not in a position to film every shot.

Oh, almost forgot.....drilled this deer about an hour into the four hour drive to get here.

Thanks again Jonny, I had a highly enjoyable experience hunting with you and Lucas. And I'm extremely impressed by your shooting skills.

For the record guys, I watched Jonny shoot a JSB pellet (both small and large) tin at 109 yds, standing! I'm talking back-to-back hits on them.

And also witnessed him make a kill shot on a rabbit as it was running, another standing shot. And a head shot on a pigeon at 76 yds, when the only thing showing was the head! Those are just a few highlights from my trip.

I reviewed some footage last night and the snow shoe hare shot is recorded!! I'll put up a clip in a little bit!

:)

Thanks for the kind words Bob! If anyone is worried about taking a running shot a rabbit, it was already mortally hit with a high lung shot and heading for thick cover. The snap shot was to ensure an easy recovery.
