Heading for New Mexico to shoot pigeons

Well guys we only shot 231 today but it sure was windy. I shot my trusty FX500 today and as always it was a pleasure. I’ve told many people I think the 500 is bulletproof. I would have to count my tins but I bet I’ve shot well over 15000 rounds and have not had a single problem. Everyone that shoots it tells me they want it if I decide to get rid of it. I can’t convince anyone it’s the shooter & not the gun. But back to the hunt...we were shooting 2 mildots of wind most of the day. At noon we decided to go to Ruidoso for lunch, so that wasted over 4 hrs. Had a nice Schlotzsky sandwich though. It’s back to the grind tomorrow and I will be shooting my .25 Impact.

No EBR for me......don't have the money or time off work for that.

Broke 1000 today for a final total of 1023 birds. We only shot 203 today for a few reasons. First, I’m getting old and tired! Three days almost non stop is tough on me. Secondly, we found & and gained permission to hunt at three more diaries in the area. I was thinking if I come this far to hunt, let’s make it worth my while and find a few more. My next trip will be in November. Scott and I will spend Tuesday night near Goldthwaite TX where we will shoot pigs at night for two days. Hope to see many of you folk at EBR. Until then keep shooting.

Well if he can kill a dove at 139 yds, and is a better shot than me, I think he will shoot fine if he can find an Iquana.

Youtube doesn't have a problem with hunting videos if you age-restrict them.

Not working for me either.

I think I saw the video when it was originally posted. There were like 30 pigeons in the scope all sitting in some kind of metal roof or overhang if I remember correctly.
