Textbook kill shot. Beautiful shot placement!! Nicely done. Which magnification setting did you use on your Vector scope? Is that the Veyron?

Lights out for that little guy.
Last time i saw one of those,,, well it was actually 2 of them, but it was like 10 years ago and in a public forest,,,,, dont think Denmark have a Squirrel problem.
If these dident have the same shot count in .177 as they do in .30, i would so have picked up one i think, i felt one up when i picked up my Maverick, and they feel really well build guns.

That's a perfect shot and I've always heard that "if you aim small, you hit small". Greys can be pretty hard to kill, most of my shots are to the head and I've hunted with .177s for many years with springers and pcps.

Simply hooked, it wasn't that great of a shot. I was sitting at my bench with a rested gun stacking pellets on a target when this guy mistakenly walked right in front of my target and stopped. It was almost too easy.

Great shot even while practicing as ones adrenaline kicks up a notch upon viewing one of those through ones scope! LOL! Nice photo with said nutter and Leshiy 2.

Am I’m seeing impact between the eye and ear just below the brain? What did the pellet destroy in its path to turn his lights out?

Whew! I am happy I don't have a rat problem like that! I resorted to poison bait blocks for the rats, so I don't get any shots at them.
The chippers have all but disappeared as well, but the temps are supposed to rise to near 70f in the next few days, so there is still hope that I may have a few more targets.
And there are always the Arboreal rats. For various reasons, I can't post or talk too much about those, but suffice to say that at least one a day makes me a happy pester. (grin)
