Just in case you guys are wondering what a .177 slug 18.5gr XLHP slug does to the skull of iguana at twenty five yards putting out 40fpe

That's amazing! .177 slugs are no joke! Excellent shots and pics! Can only imagine what damage your incoming Krait HP .22 will do slinging slugs!
I kind of have an idea, i use my buddies zelos shooting 20.83gr jsb ko slugs at 930fps. It looked like I had shot the iguana with a thirty cal hybrid slugs at 1000fps, head split in four massive hole in the middle kind of like one of the pictures on top, but on an iguana, that was four times the size

Holy moly! I am shooting AVS 20gr slugs out of my Taipan Vet 2 .22 @ 930-ish, this is for ground squirrel permissions, I hope they expand like the KO's, the AVS feel soft!

Also I've never tried the AVS slugs, but I have seen them expand decently despite not having a massive cavity.
Cool! Thanks for that info! For me, whatever slug is the most accurate out of my PCP's will be the one I use mostly for bucking the wind, expansion is just icing on the critter 😂.

I hear ya! I'm good with using light weights slugs out to 100yds in light winded but if it's past that I don't mind through a 25-30gr slug in the mix lol
