Hi willy
I bought a vevor pump exactly same inside as the nomad tuxing etc.
Was not 100% when I got it bearing grind and basically put together in a rush.
I changed bearing for a car cam type and redone pump seals and cleaned all the black goo out of the internals.
Then turned power supply up and 12 months later she still runs perfect.
I paid £180 uk for mine and certainly better than the hand pump.
Just lubricate and change filters regularly and should be fine
Super easy to strip and rebuild and parts easily obtainable..
Also on mine I wired in another fan from a pc into the black plastic cover that houses the pump rod and bearing to keep it cooler when running.
So if you're capable of stripping it down it shouldn't be a problem.
I use good treadmill oil in mine.

Key is not overheating them filling larger 580-700cc tanks on rifles.. been using a cheap portable compressor to fill my rifles for close to 3yrs with no issues, also use a a cheap yung heng clone to fill my 60 min tanks for about 1.5yrs, the only issue I had was about a month ago when I was filling my 60min tank, I walked away from it for like 2 minutes to get a beer and the water pump plug vibrated out of the machine and smoked the seal on the piston, compressor came with seal and it only took about 20 min to replace the piston seal and back in business 😁
