Got one of these Hawke Vantage 4-12 x 40 AO scopes for my AV Avenger. Seems like a decent scope for not a lot of money. Sighted in easily enough, but at 50 yards, those last couple clicks to center things up get finicky. Still, better than a lot of outer "inexpensive" scopes I have had.
Having some issues with the AO though, it's barely focused at 50 yards, and looks great when looking further than that, but anything closer is blurry, and rotating the AO does nothing. I had a chipmunk in my yard at about 20 yards while I was shooting 50, and I couldn't focus the scope on it at all. The outer AO rotates freely, but I can't see anything inside the objective lens side move at all.
I think this one might be going back.
