I had to bite the bullet and ordered a Hawke Tactical scope 6.5x20x42 and the an Eagle Vision camera mount. Upon arrival, Hawke has changed the thread on the scope so that the Eagle Vision that fits other Hawkes, does not fit the new one. Has anyone heard where Eagle was addressing this or is there a work around!!

Which ring did you get? I have the hawke sidewinder tactical 8. 5-25×42 and eagle vision with the hw1 ring

Hawke is telling me I need "Thanks for using Hawke Sport Optics. The size you are looking for is M38*0.6". Will be checking with Eagle Vision to see if they have or are going to make this one!!

I just read on here that if you have the new Hawke sidewinder tactical s with the aluminum flip up dust covers you need the hw2-38mm ring. Yes eagle vision makes this.

But yeah you need the HPS-2 it is new (38mm Ring) and AoA says they have them on order and will have them in a couple of weeks. They told me they would ship it out free to me when they come in.
