Hawke Sidewinder 8-40x56 TMX ir

Been looking for reviews on this scope but it seems very little is available. I state up front that the purpose of this venture is to find a scope with a 16X power mark on it that will give positive feedback to distances between 45 yards and 55 yards consistently and accurately. Does such a scope exist? I seriously doubt it not even on a Nightforce or SB , but I would love to be surprised. So if anyone has got a suggestion I'm sure a lot of AFFTA Hunter Field Target shooters will be obliged to listen in. For most of us the the higher end scopes are out of the question anyway.

Hey dayjd, when you find that perfect hunter FT scope that ranges superbly at 35-55 yards will you please private message me with the info first so they don’t get sold out😬. Actually I have also been looking for a better hunter FT scope that doesn’t bankrupt me and have been doing some research. I haven’t seen anyone posting about the Hawke TMX as far as ranging ability. That TMX looks like a pretty nice scope, albeit a little pricier than some of the other Sidewinders, I recently corresponded with a FT acquaintance from another state who just got one of the new generation Hawke Sidewinders in 6-24x56 FFP and has used it in a couple matches in hunter but is holding his opinions until he has more time in the saddle with it. He did really like the eyebox in it.

Bill, did you ever find any more info on this scope? There was an individual who came to one of our FT matches who had one and said he liked it and claimed it ranged well, but he never came back to another meet so I was never able to dig deeper or try it out and verify its true abilities in the no-mans land of 40-55 yds. Cameraland has a pretty good sale on them now, it is tempting since my FT scope is having some issues.
