Hawke Sidewinder 30SF IR 4-16x50 Mil/MOA

I have a Hawke Frontier SF30 that is very nice but why do they have a mil reticle and moa turrent adjustments? Doesn't make sense to me.

Well, given my druthers I would go with 1/10 MIL or 1/8 MOA turrets but it really doesn't matter. One tenth mil is 0.34 MOA and you will sometimes see a MIL/MIL scope marked as 1/3 MOA per click or even 1/3 inch at 100 yards. It is simple enough to just remember that 1/4 MOA is about 1/14 MIL (a bit less but close enough for most adjustments). Why they do that? No idea.
