I just recently bought the discontinued version of that 6-24x56 Sidewinder30 and that new price just has to be a TYPO..

All's I can say the one it replaced I got 2 months ago is a little brighter and clearer than my older version SR-PRO 6-24x56 that's 10 years old. The reticle is too thick at 24x otherwise overall nice scope!

It is clearer than the Aztec Emerald and Vortex Diamondback Tactical and Athlon Argos and Optisan EVX and MTC VIPER PRO and ALL Leaper UTG and gives the AIM Sport Alpha6 a pretty good run.

I always like the thinness of the Hawke 20X 1/2mil reticle and thought it would make a nice FFP. YO, who makes a decently priced FFP with a thin reticle at 16-24X? That's what has always kept me on the fence about going FFP.

Bought couple will report after they arrive. Mums 4now till I see if those reticles are not too thick at max power.

Problem in wanting a medium thin reticle on a FFP 24x is that it turns into very fine baby hair crosshairs at low magnification that's very difficult to see.

I've looked through a few hawkes and was never that impressed. For the cost of these new ones I'd recommend the Athlon Midas hands down over them. I love my 4-16x44
