I've heard from Hawke that there has been some design change's. If you want to put Hawke flip up cap's on your pre 2/16 sidewinder you'll need bushing's. They have changed the thread pitch on the screw in caps.
For the Hawke 6.5-20x42
ocular's bushing part # is 62190 and cap part# is 61050
Adjective's bushing # is 62191 and cap is part# 61005
