Hawke scope warranty - 2 thumbs up

A couple weeks back I shipped my Hawke Airmax 30 6-24x50 off to get some warranty work due to the turrets being stiff to dial and kind of mushy feeling. I received an email today that they're replacing it with the equivalent in the newest gen. I would have to say that is pretty good warranty.

Stuff like that are worth so much more than how ever much you decide to throw after google to run a ad campaign all over the internet for you.

Also service / customer care, it is just about the only places where the little guy can fight with the big boys and come out on top.

Many many others won't repeat their first hand experience regarding Hawke quality and the warranty they got.

Great news, but I would be interested to know how many repeat returns there are? Anyone can get a bad one on ocassion and to have that replaced is great. I can remember many years back having my Bushnell 6-18x40 replaced/ repaired 6x in one year....never owned another Bushnell.. So how many repeat repair/ returns is a real sign of quality and customer service..in my opinion anyway. .
