HAWKE scope sale till Dec31

IF you insist on buying this brand I am forcing you to save money. I do not push this brand.

This is one of the better glass ones. Picture kinda reminds me of looking through a Leupold believe it or not (THIS SPECIFIC MODEL ONLY!) which to me appears nicer than the Frontier line which I also have.

SFP bright and clear glass nice picture on this specific one better than most Sidewinder 30s I see ppl buying used ones for around this price anyway so if you insist buy a new one then save your receipt.

What I don't like about it is the initial retail MAP pricing is at least 2x overpriced IMHO and illumination chances are that it might not be consistent throughout the entire reticle.

SFP easy to see reticle at lowest magnification which is a problem for most FFP scopes in mostly all brands. 20x 1/2 Mildot is very useable for airgun holdover.

Here's a 4-16x50 good deal however the 6.5-20x42 above has nicer glass and this floating 10x reticle is too small and makes holdover points are too closely spaced to be useable IMHO.

For those of us with limited funds that want a very good, clear and usable scope, Hawke is one of the best. They have a wide range of models to choose from and they stand behind their products. Anyone I know that has had a problem with these scopes and they are far and few between, has often gotten an upgrade when they sent the scope back.

All of my scopes come from Hawke. I have mounted them on some pretty severe spring guns and a big recoil rifle (30-06) with never a problem or failure of any kind.

I like Hawke scopes. Their features seem to satisfy all my needs for airgunning. My FT scope is a 6-24 Sidewinder with the 20X reticle. This ranges best and overrides the things they are criticized for. I’ve bought many scopes promoted by folks on this forum and don’t like them for a lot of reasons. Optical clarity is kinda subjective, and their ability to survive nipple twisting is a bit much. Hawke offers a pretty good lifetime warranty tool Hawkes reticles are the best for me; not too thin, not too thick, not too busy. Generous eyebox too. I bought an Athlon once. Big, fat heavy scope with big fat reticle. You need wheels for these. Big fat price too. Same for Bushnell Forge. Other big name scopes like Leupold and Vortex are nice but don’t have the features I like. I do like Sightron S3s for target work. BTW, I don’t care for FFP scopes.

I've owned and still do close to 30 Hawkes in Sport HD, Vantage, Airmax and Panorama in various sizes, all but one mounted on springers and have never had a problem or needed to use the warranty.

I do own other brands and your mileage may vary but to each his or her own on buying/using one. I keep choosing to because of the spotless history I've had with mine :)

Well that sale is history however THIS ONE is rather interesting so I have an older version of this same scope and mines don't focus down to 10 yards like THIS ONE SAYS.

Mines 40-50 yard minimum.

I bought mine for $550 on sale years ago and retail was around $799 maybe more back then.

It absolutely blows the living crap out of the $649 MTC VIPER PRO 5-30x50. But then again most cheap scopes do past 20x.
