Hawke or Aztec..

I've had one of these for years now and it was great on my Crown 30 cal. I was thinking of using this on a powder burner rifle, does anyone know if this scope is capable? I scanned through the forums, the post above included. There seems to be more speculation surrounding this use case than any practical experience or manufacturer's guidance. Any help would be appreciated.

What gun did you put them on? looking to re-purpose mine on a hunting rifle.

I tried them for a hunter field target rifle. Seemed to range fairly well but glass was not very clear especially in the dark lanes.

Ok, was a thought. Aztec is more of a smaller company I think as they only have 3-4 scope models. They have good individual reviews (and are springer rated), but I'll stick with the known quality in Hawke. Thank you!
