Hawke 8-40x56 with ED glass

All of my airguns have Hawke optics. Three have Airmax scopes and two have Sidewinder 6-24 FFP mounted on them. They have all been great and whenever I have needed anything from the Hawke service group out of Ft Wayne, IN they have been a pleasure to work with. Nothing seems to be too much for these guys when it comes to taking care of their customers.

So after months of studying “next level” scopes I opted for a Hawke 8-32x56 Sidewinder with the ED glass to put on my .25 RAW HM1000X LRT. It came in yesterday and the difference in the clarity, the solid parallax wheel, and the reticle put this scope in an entirely different class from my other optics.

It makes the performance of my rifle absolutely “lights out.”

i am very pleased thus far and would highly recommend it.

I had a Sidewinder 8-32 on my RAW HM 1000X .25. Clarity and brightness went South above 25X, so I replaced it with a Sightron SIII 10-50 and never looked back. I can turn this up to 50X and it's just as bright as can be.

As I've state before, optics seems to one of the most subjective things in shooting. What looks great to one person isn't acceptable to another. Good to have lots of choices.
