HAWKE 60 DAY WARRANTY OR NO WARRANTY

How does Hawke know when you send in your REFURB if it fails within their 60 day warranty?

How do they even know if it was a refurb or you bought it used that was never a refurb?

Granted no warranty for second hand owners everyone knows this the Lifetime Warranty is only for original owner with proof of purchase receipt.

What happens when they fail and you aren't the original owner? Aside from tossing them into the trash...

Well, I bought a Hawke from a guy on AGN and a month later the IR failed. Called Hawke and told them I needed a Warranty repair (i.e. replacement to them) and told them I lost the receipt. No problem, sent it to them at my expense and got a brand new replacement. Another time they no longer made the scope that was broken, so they replaced it with the newer and better model, no charge.

There are ways to make things work out, and most manufacturer's in my experience will do the right thing.

Here's the point. What if there's a NIB Hawke selling on the classifieds that was ALREADY a warranty swap for the original owner who just wanted to wash his or her hands on the brand and the buyer has a failure after like a year later all of a sudden does not track at all when he swaps or to a new gun and can't even zero even with FX No Limits or Eagle Vision adjustable rings and the illumination has totally stopped working even with new battery swaps?

I had a hawke fail a cpl months ago it was cpl years old and I was second owner no paperwork, I called them they said just ship it in with script of the problem, they contacted me a few days after they received it said it wasn’t able to be repaired or replaced because it was old model they gave me upgrade “NO CHARGE” no questions. That alone says a lot for a company I have a total of 11 hawkes and that was only one that ever had a problem
