I had originally posted in the springer section earlier this month that I had mounted a Hawke Vantage 4x32 AO (Mil Dot) on my RWS 34P. Like some of the replies I got, I also have read that it is not rated for springers over 12 fpe. But I had also read that a lot of guys have used this scope on some pretty heavy springers and the scope has lasted for the long haul flawlessly. I just thought I'd give a little update on how the little Hawke is holding up so far. Pretty darn good!! First off...for the money it has some really clear glass and gathers light very well. I recently used it in low light/late evening conditions in the woods and it did extremely well. So far I have easily put it through some 400 firing cycles sitting atop the RWS34. No issues at all. It has held zero perfectly.....no change in point of impact at all. Perhaps it being a fixed power will add to reliability. Of course this could all change in one shot..LOL! But if so, I'm not out a ton of money as the scope didn't set me back an arm and a leg to begin with. It's seems really well built and equipped with some good glass......particularly for it's price point. I'm happy with it and singing it's praises right now. If it takes a crap on me and has me singing the blues tomorrow.......I will give ya an update on that as well. Below are some pics of the scope and some of the groups I just recently have achieved with it.
