Hawke 4-16 x 44mm IR, SF, Compact?

There is a small amount of movement in the brightness dial/knob when the parallax dial/wheel is adjusted. My question is this normal or is something loose on my scope? If I rock the parallax wheel back and forth I can see the brightness move but it stops when I continue adjusting the wheel. Maybe I am not describing this right but would appreciate any help if you have this model Hawke scope and could try the parallax adjustment. When adjusting the side parallax wheel does the intensity of illumination increas or decrease. If not, then it would not concerned me; if the intensity of the set illumination is affected by your parallax adjustment then send it in to Hawke.
