Hey here is a picture of some projectile testing we were doing today. Fired into a five gallon bucket full of water from straight above , about four feet away. The pictured rounds are as follows, (left to right)
*nielsons .22 caliber 23 grain slug fired from fx crown at around 44 fpe. Beautiful mushroom!
*nielsons .25 caliber 34.9 grain slug fired from fx maverick at around 85 fpe. Mushroomed harder than the crown so sides are folded back more. Penetrated through about 16 inches of water and hit the bottom of the bucket hard enough to flatten one side of the slug.
* H&n barracuda hunter .25 caliber shot from benjamin marauder.
*H&n barracuda hunter shot from fx maverick. Supersonic. Fps??? Turned that on right inside out!
