Havent been active much due to life but im back

Life finally settled down and I went out to see John at New England Airgun to pick up some stuff I had ordered 2 months ago and purchase some other things

Those things were

A BD Taurus topped with a vortex strike eagle 4-24x50 ir shooting 185 gr at 950fps for 360 fpe for 10 shots.

A Huben .22 to compliment my .25 I topped this with a bug buster I had laying around for now.

An airacuda max .25 I topped with a helix

I picked up my huben 5kpsi hand pump, 20 tins of ammo and as I was leaving John asked me to shoot at the NEAC at the end of April and then proceeded to sign him and myself up, so guess I'm shooting.

Anyways, hope you are all well. I am glad the nightmare that was 8 weeks of no shooting is over !

Tomorrow I am going to zero at least the taurus in , probably the others as well.

The huben handpump is great, collapsible feet and handles , made of titanium as well so ultra light and back pack friendly.

Not being able to shoot for almost two months killed me, my boss ended up sick after his end of the year 4 week vacation and was out for another 6 weeks.... 2.5 months of 530am to 5 pm with 45 minute commutes one way on top while also maintaining a side business and family life really caught up with me and I felt I deserved some toys!

I was up in the air till I held it. It is LIGHT , it handles very well, and it packs a punch I guess ... I'll find out today.

It was how I was justifying only having 1 gun and that I didn't actually enjoy the hobby as much as I do.

In fact. Over 8 weeks, I learned I just hate people lmao and they're in every hobby. So lesson learned.

Actually I'm going to shoot my Huben .25 for bench rest , unorthodox I know but John asked if I would and I am going for the fun of it, not that I'm not gunna try hard but this is a 100% first for me.

I've got something else in the works for the PRS event.

And I will be shooting the Taurus in the squatchbomb or whatever it is.

CTAirgunner - do you remain happy with the Huben hand pump? It definitely looks like the "class-act" of available handpumps. But I haven't really found any feedback from anyone who has used it on an ongoing basis over time? Thanks

PS - amazing work on the engine. Hope it is now turning out some smiles
