Depending on what you intend to install it on, you may be able to get one of Neil Clauge’s “Reflexed” type moderator’s custom made... they will only work with certain barrel styles. If you decide to contact him, be sure to mention the term “Reflexed” in your inquiry, and specify you want the overall added length to be as short as possible and still be effective. He does outstanding work. Everything he builds is custom per each individual order!

I guess it hearing damage over the years. Low tones sound much better to my ears. I do realize the higher pitch probably doesn't carry as far, but It really bothers me.

MrP, I 3d print parts for my business, would you be willing to share any of your 3d print files? I have an Avenger in .22 cal that I would love to make quiet.

I'd be happy to help. It might take me a little while to get around to it so maybe send me a private message to remind me. Also not saying that my designs are particularly good. One limit is that most of what I've designed is intended to go inside of an outer aluminum body that has threading. Do you have something like this? I haven't designed more than just a couple of Proto types that would actually thread on themselves.
