My mistake, tank does not have a sleeve, it's an aluminum tube (magnet doesn't stick) with a .125" wall thickness. 6gun, looks like you are correct about the gauge block but the tube is not steel. Pics to follow.Kinda looks like an aluminum guage block in a steel tube like an mrod.
Now THAT seems super sketchy. Aluminum has a personality that I wouldn't want to be putting more than 2k psi in at a 125 wall thickness unless it was fiber wrapped. I'm not a material science engineer, but I've made enough things fail over the course of my life. I was sketched out when I cleaned rust out of my mrod tube when I was younger. My mistake, tank does not have a sleeve, it's an aluminum tube (magnet doesn't stick) with a .125" wall thickness. 6gun, looks like you are correct about the gauge block but the tube is not steel. Bonus points for work hardening data.Anyone know how to calculate a pressure rating for a 1.5" OD aluminum tube with a .125" wall? Let's say it's 7075 Al
