Hatsun Bullboss broken component help

A friend of mine bought the Hatsun Bullboss 25 cal about 2 month ago from Amazon. He has not shot all of the pellets from a single tin of JSB MK2. The gun failed and would not cock. I remove the assembly from the stock and found this broken metal tab in side the receive where the hammer and spring are located. The gun cocks and fire now. But what is this component ? I looked over the parts diagram and I do not see anything there that looks like this part. Hatsun is Impossible to contact by phone. Any help would be appreciated.

That may be half the wishbone that is part of the anti-double feed mechanism. It's a known weak link on the Bullboss. I had that part fail a couple times when I had mine, finally got Hatsan to replace it with a machined one-piece part and never had another problem with it! I would have him reach out to Hatsan, through their web-form, and request a replacement. They have been pretty good at covering parts I had fail, even the reduction gear on a Spark Compressor I bought used from another air gunner!

The only reliable way to get through to them from what I have experienced is through the website contact / customer service form. You will need the serial number from the gun. I too have had decent response time using the form. I even replied to their emails using the form page as well as replying to the email. Put any reference info in there each time.
